Beans Aloo Bhaja/Beans Potato Stir Fry


This super licious stir fry will knock your socks off!!! It's so easy to make and the poppy seeds just steels the show. Serve with Rice and Dal. Serve with Roti or even serve with Chicken Steak... scrumptious!!!  

 INGREDIENTS

Beans - 250 gram - Chopped
Potato - 2 Medium - Chopped
Mustard oil / Normal oil- 2 Tbps
2 Pinch of Asafetida
Whole Red Chilly - 1
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
 Sugar , Garam Masala,Red chilly powder , salt -

1 tsp each
Tumeric - 1/2 tsp
Poppy seeds - 1 Tbsp

Directions

Heat a pan
Pour mustard oil 2 Tbsp
Heat to a smoking point
Add tempering ingredients
As they sputter
Add the Aloo and Beans
Fry for 2 mins or till they get a little tinge on them
Sprinkle all the dry powders and mix well
Fry for 2 more mins so the beans aloo get coated with dry powders
Sprinkle poppy seeds
Mix well
Cook undercover for 10 mins on low flame or till aloo is done
Garnish roasted cumin powder and ghee
Goes well with hot Rice and  Dal / Roti accompanied with Egg omellet!!!
