Khus Khus Vada



Posto Bora a Bengali dish... which means Khus Khus Vada.. served with rice and dal

Makes for 2

Ingredients:-

Poppy Seeds - 1/2 cup
White Sesame Seeds - 1/4 cup
Green chillies - 2
Rice Flour- 2Tb spoon
Maida - 1Tbs
Onions - 1/2 of medium size
Coriander - 2 stems
Salt
Mustard oil - 4-6 Tb spoon (Vegetable oil can be used)



Soak poppy seeds and white sesame seeds in water over night,or with hot water for about 3 to 4 hrs, grind along with one green chilly (course paste) transfer into a bowl now add another green chilly finely chopped, onion, maida,rice flour, salt and coriander. In a thick bottom pan, add mustard oil.. heat to the smoking point ..just scoop the paste in a spoon and place in the pan and fry on eithrt sides...Serve hot with plain rice, Dal... I just dont require anything other than these three..
