Ingredients
Chirer - 3 cups (thick poha)
Oil - 3Tbs
Groundnut - 1/4 cup
Channa dal - 1/4 Tbs
Urad Dal - 1/4 Tbs
Mustard seeds - 1/4Ts
Curry Leaves - 4 leaves
Whole Red chilies - 2 broken into half
Onions - 1 medium finely chopped
Green Chilies - 4 cut into half
Salt to taste
Sambar powder - 1/2Tbs
Sugar - 1/4 Tbs
Turmeric - 1/4 Ts
Lemon - 2Tbs
Coconut- 1Tbs (Freshly grated)
Coriander to garnish
Heat oil in pan ... first add groundnut,channa dal and urad dal as they turn golden brown add the mustard+curry leaves+red chili... as soon as they crack now cook the onions fry for approx 5 to 10 mins and then add the Green Chilies and fry for about 1 mins ... now add salt+sambar powder+sugar+turmeric and reduce the flame to medium low and cook under cover for about 3 mins ... wash the poha... thoroughly and before adding strain the water mix well... and cook undercover with same medium flame.. for about 8mins and garnish with Lemon+coconut+coriander.. and serve... just yummy...
